Starting at pixelart, practice and tools

Of course everything helps everything, but I still wouldn't suggest of doing that all at the same time. Only concentrate to specific thing that interests. Also painting and drawing are quite closely related, but pixel art starts to be pretty far away from those. So if one wants to learn pixel art, he should definitely focus on that instead of those other two. What you learn about basic color usage, compositions, dynamics, shapes by doing fine arts, you learn them as well in pixel art too. If you want to be a good car builder, you should not focus into boat building.
