Ok, new Fortress started. Its called "Walldream" (Sounds awesome)
I got 7 dwarves, Im going to go through the old thread and find all the people that asked to be in it. Then I shall name all 7 dwarves after them. When I get my first wave of migrants, Ill let you guys know so I can get more people in on this.
Also, Instead of haunted, I placed this fortress on a "terrifying" land. I dont know exactly what this means, but it cant be good.
The life expectancy of these dwarves wont be very long I bet...

Heres the starting area.   Im going to dig into the rock on my right as soon as I can, hopefuly ill find some sand that I can farm in. Also, this river is awesome in that Its a good drinking supply point and will be good as a future moat for protection. |

I think hideous is going to go first. Fishers love fishing, and Giant Skeletal Eagles love eating things outside, namely, fishers.

Mining.
Also, nobody is going to live to long. The Eagle has already started to attack and has killed off both of the starting dogs, and chased Tasoth and Quiggan down the river.
That eagle is going to be a problem. I need to get into the rock as soon as I can

Hahaha, Terrifying is haunted X10, this is a pretty typical outcome unless you start out with 2 or so crossbow dwarves.
