Love that parallax.
I also love that brick tile and character, seagaia. Sets a great mood already.

KopanoGS, wow! That's really cool. It has a very nice feel of depth to it. The only thing that seems a little odd is that the distance to the back wall depends on how high you are. When you jump on the roof you move 'back'. When on already on the roof and jumping, the wall shouldn't move back any more, no? (Click to see larger)

Thanks mate! Yes, it depends on how high the main character is. So if you jump while on top of the roof, you go higher, so the wall moves back some more. I agree that it feel strange but i don't have a solution for it right now

KopanoGS: Great animation. Hypnohustla: I like the characters, but the repeating background tiles stand out a bit too much. Eigen: Nice old school look. --- Here are a couple of screenshots of The Trouble With Robots I took today. In this level the foolish Colvin is getting his comeuppance: I'm really pleased with how the weather effects add visual variety, and in this case reinforcing the slightly dark mood of this level. But tell me what you think! I also made a wallpaper earlier this week, which went down pretty well on Facebook. DemoDevLog

Screenshot of a cutscene in my game. Sort of inspired by a dream I had a few years back that I think about from time to time.

Not much that I want to show off at this point in development, so take a look at the menu instead. YOU KNOW YOU LIKE IT.

I do not. Someone, somewhere said never to post your title screen. I would follow this advice. I really dislike the heart-creature-thing. It just doesn't "fit". The other bosses, though, like that feline-king-thing look great. I'm looking forward to this!

Thanks for the feedback, I actually think you're right. I hadn't really stood back and looked at the boss, I might think of something else now. Not sure what kind of thing works in place of the heart though? Maybe just a miscellaneous monster... Also this is super nice, but I don't really understand what's going on with the reflections at the bottom? The grass to water transition is a bit confusing.

Latest level I've been making from my physics-based puzzle game OddBall (for iOS/Android initially, then possibly web and PC/Mac).
