i pretty much stopped listening to boris after "smile" but i have to say their new album is surprisingly pretty decent. feels like theyre finally comfortable with the j-rock/glam influences and have relearned how to rock the fuck out in the process.

Never really got into Brand New myself, but I had an old girlfriend who worshiped that band.
I thought taking back Sunday was pretty good.

I also like Taking Back Sunday, though I haven't really listened to any of their newer stuff. I keep thinking I saw them at Warped Tour 2 years ago, but that's just because they're touring with The Used now, and I saw The Used at Warped. Sadly I have never seen TBS or Brand New.
