That green sky is crazy!  Any idea what caused it?  Aurora Borealis is the only way to get a green sky that I can think of, and it's not really a solid green either.  (Darn it, I  really wish Aurora Borealis happened more often too, as it's absolutely gorgeous.)

OK, deleted the old one; here's my new submission:

Taken this past August in Edmonton's river valley.

Well apparently green sky is followed by harsh weather ( http://weathersavvy.com/Q-Green_Sky1.html ), and a few days after that it started snowing here like it hadn't snowed in 2-3 years!

Other than that, I have no explanation, but it sure scared me.

It is more atmospheric. I really like the photo of the dog, though.

I just noticed we were supposed to write a description of our photos! I've changed the description of mine.

Oh, so we were!
Here's a small note about my shot, then:  This was taken on a rainy night at a boardwalk downtown at 4 am when I was out taking some night shots and panos some friends.  The lights had made really neat highlights on the planks, and everything was just so quiet and empty.  It was quite nice.

Also, finally a compo I can actually participate in!  Can I choose the next topic?

High dynam...?
...I pressed the button on my camera and it went click.  Embarrassed

*googles for HDR*

Nope! I guess it just came out nicely. The sky looks cloudy, but it was one of those days where there's still enough sunlight to make you squint all day if you don't have sunglasses.

I really like the idea of continuing photo compos actually, or compos that only require doing one part of game design, like spriting or sketching out concepts (a concepts compo would be insane).

I think the winner of this compo will get to decide the theme of the next Photography Compo.  Seems like a nice little prize to me (especially since I wasn't planning on having a prize at all).

Ah, i didn't think so, the picture just had an odd glow about it so I thought it possibly could be.
