Hello,

Today I tried to make a decent 2D game, from scratch (i.e. gfx, sfx, code, data, everything), in Blitz Plus, as quickly as possible. It took just under 7 hours, and here is the result:

Oh, wow... crash. 

(XP, Celeron 2.4GHz, 1.5GB, ATI9550 256 - no clue why it crashes!)

Hmm.

Here's what I've got:

XP, Celeron 2.8Ghz, 256MB, ATI9000 IGP (128)

It's a ruddy old laptop.

The only way I can get the game to crash is by running it straight from the zip file, rather than extracting it first.

At what point does it crash? Do you get to the title screen? Does it bomb out spectacularly with the "send error report"-style message?

Has anyone else had trouble with it?

Apologies for the double-post, but I've uploaded an alternative version:

This version isn't packed using Molebox, which might be the problem. The only drawback is the number of files it creates - hence my decision to use Molebox.
