hi my name is DJ Saint-Hubert and I make music on the internet. My stuff would be best suited to more 8-bit, 16-bit styled games with more artificial sounds. Not that I can't do real instruments but it would be soundfonts and I hate canned sounds. Most of my sounds are made from scratch except for obvious vocal samples/breaks which are heavily processed anyway. Either way I know a lot about real synthesis techniques and not just Fruityloops!

Obviously it's music not for the faint of heart and more for the Quimdung-types and people who know what the hell Earthbound is, and not for those who think Nobuo Uematsu is the absolute limits (limit break??) of music. Although I can tone it down a bit and do some chilled ambient music like Nifflas' stuff too. But the stranger you want the music probably the more we'll get along.

I also prefer NOT to sell ready-made tracks, rather tailor-make them to your specific project by looking at screenshots and interpreting the weird color combinations or something. Also I can make lots of rough tracks and you can narrow down which ones/which style you like the best. Give me any info/pictures/sketches of the game and I will make something from it!

I realize my stuff sounds pretty lo-fi/raw at times, this is partly unavoidable but partly on purpose as well because I think it sounds better than plasticy nintendo noises in 5.1 surround but no concept of emphaticness or whatever. Also like I said it's mostly from scratch and I'd rather do this and know my sounds/instruments inside-out than use a ready-prepared soundfont etc.

here's some samples from a soundtrack currently in progress
