The FNAFWorld demo seemed pretty neat, although there were definitely glitches/parts that weeeeren't polished. There was something about it's /atmosphere/ that really resonated with me though.
Also
[23:16] <HamtRamKc> "Oreos were invented the same year the Titanic sank." This sounds wrong to me [23:17] <HamtRamKc> Like, I feel like sank should be sunk. [23:17] <HamtRamKc> Wonder what the geographic distribution of that conjugation pattern is [23:17] <HamtRamKc> Weirdest part is, mentally, I'm only seeing sank as being a conjugation for the transitive usage of sink. [23:17] <HamtRamKc> So "You sank my battleship" v. "My battleship sunk."
Any thoughts on this?

I have used a few over the years (although I don't run a site anymore, at least for the time being) I really liked and would recommend FatCow, they have not bad pricing too. I know some people really like GoDaddy as well, even though they are the Walmart of webhosting they got to that position by being good, although they have done a laundry list of evil shit if that matters to you

So we have officialy witness the birth of two new genres of video games recently, the meta and the mother-like, by birth I mean flood expected. The meta genre is not new, that cd rom mounty python was the first one I remember, metal gear solid and other game had some amount of meta while not being meta, stanley parable is meta and the beginner's guide are meta as fuck, but undertale and pony island opened the flood. I haven't witness enough motherlike (aside from lisa) but I'm sure they are coming after undertale so I'm taking a preemptive bet.

Speaking of "meta" games: I saw this game when watching AGDQ videos. It's a 1991 NES game based on a non-sequitur Japanese comic, that features meta-humor like fake title screens, pits that seem impossible to cross (but are actually harmless) and a segment that goes on forever until you lose. It surprised me, since it seemed like the sort of design decisions that wouldn't fly in a console game before 2000. I don't think we'll see many "Mother-likes". Games like Mother and Undertale are denoted by the quality of their writing and the balance between emotional storytelling and humor, which makes them a lot harder to develop than meta-games (which can be simple, short and weird and therefore not require a big investment of time and effort). You'll probably see a handful of games that imitate Undertale's mechanics (including its system of recording data secretly) or copy the characters or art style, but will fail to replicate its charm and originality. I do think you might be right that meta games (specifically meta-games that don't need an underlying traditional game like MGS did) are becoming a bit more popular as of late. I suspect there's some overlap in the markets for meta elements and absurdist elements like in Goat Simulator, which is evidently popular enough to keep spawning DLC expansions.

http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/669998Perfect example of a case where an audience teachs things to an author (i should stop talking like that , people will think i'm a complete ignorant) Guys Dont read all the reviews of course but some are really interesting , i was just surprised by the newsground's audience , wow. The good thing is , that pushes me more to sound more of my animes (Lonely girl is actually a student movie from 10 years ago , when i was in paris lol ) and i'm glad i dared to upload a short film like this , i learnt a lot. Spoiler : The subject is rather very deranging , the rating is M , 17 years+ , i hope i don't break policies here
