I'm developing an RTS game for iPad with the Torque 2D engine. I thought it might be interesting to post work-in-progress videos as I go along. I'll try to make a new video every week or so.

Week 1 - prototype video (no audio):





Week 2 - This video has an audio commentary explaining the game's controls.





Week 3 - This one shows some of the software and tools I use for iPad devleopment, as well as an update on the game.

Looks really neat. It looks somewhat slow, but I guess with the amount of interaction going on you wouldn't be able to manage it going any faster.

I agree with xen, may be adding an option to fasten game and pause game...
Other than that, it looks like a cool tactical aircraft game, I've never see anything like that before... Wish I have an iPad Tongue

It seems slow when you're watching the video, but when you're playing it there's actually a lot going on at once. You have to watch the main screen and the panel on the left, and you have to pan around to make sure you're not missing any sneak attacks. I think if it moved any faster players wouldn't be able to keep up with everything at once and it would become frustrating and overwhelming.

Also, this is still in development. I still have to add lots more enemy types and more detail in the background.

Looks nice! Does look a lot like Steambirds, as someone previously mentioned. If I had drunk the Apple koolaid and gotten an iPad, I'd be excited. :D

This looks like a lot of fun! My game Fangorodrim was made using TGB as well. Any idea when a demo will be available for the PC?
