I am a programmer. I have a lot of free time. What programming language would this be in? I would be interested in becoming part of the team.

Preferably something that would work on PC, Mac, and possibly linux (seriously, who uses Linux?). The goal is to get the game up on Steam, and see where it goes from there.

hmmm. Java is very cross platform and could run on any device that works with the JVM. I'd be very happy to help.
