if all the people who get mad at video games and movie sequels could get mad at something that matters the world would be good in a week

Hey remember three months ago when hundreds of thousands of offshore accounts had their info leaked and everyone got jazzed up that it was gonna shake up the status quo and people from business elites to politicians were going to be held accountable for dodging taxes in a massive, organized manner?
afaik a lot of the stuff revealed in those leaks was not actually illegal, just scummy. Hiding money and assets from the IRS and their non-FREEDOM equivalents are probably illego

It's not like they changed either, so I'm not sure, the more complaints, the edgier they became!

That's cool and all, but this article is bottom of the barrel clickbait trash. Here's the source they cite: http://the-japan-news.com/news/article/0002826970
TL;DR it got through the first phase of a four stage screening process which is hardly "close to winning". Also the wording "national literary award" makes it seem like a big deal, but actually most of the google results i could find about this award were connected to this particular story. Also the award is apparently known for accepting computer generated work and its jury is headed by a professor from a "future university" which i haven't done any research on but sounds fishy as heck. the novel wasn't even completely generated.
So the headline should read: "AI-assisted novel fails to get nominated for obscure literary award"

Sonic Generations 2??
The devs are claiming it's not a direct sequel, so it's possible they might be doing something different gameplay/storywise with it
