Derek's new iphone game is great. Really superb. But it doesn't have online high scores, so let's post our scores here!
I'll start: Score: 131,250 Round: 180
(I know this isn't very impressive, but it was my first try)

It's $99 (an iphone, not Diabolika ). Get over it, people. My high score of my first playthrough is: 138,950 - 210 rounds

Well, it costs a lot compared to not having a phone.
But Diabolika is only $2! Let's see some more scores on here!

huh? i don't have a phone, and that doesn't cost me very much, as far as i can see
and 99$? i thought it was 299$ or something. still, 99$ is quite a lot. that's a fifth of my year's savings.

For us people who don't have them fancy touchy phones, there's always the very good and very free: Diabolika IIMy pretty lousy highscore on Diabolika II doesn't even beat the pre-programmed highscore. But here goes: Score: 46176 Round: 19 I'm not sure how that compares to the phone version, though.

My first time playing: Score: 550100 Round: 315 I didn't get the concept of combos right away or my score would have been much higher. And in the beginning I kept tapping the rocket target instead of the rockets by accident Great game!

This is the best damn game, and it has nothing to do with me thinking Derek is an OK dude. Totally worth the two dollar asking price.

I don't have an Iphone but I'm sure Diabolika is the best game ever released on Iphone, probably even one of the best games ever if you except aquaria and spelunky AMIRITE GUYS.

Where can I purchase these super cheap iPhones? Do want. Also, Diabolika on the iPhone, good idea! Is it changed in any way, or still the ol' classic edition?

I've been really enjoying this game, although I wish there was a time limit imposed on each turn so that a single game wouldn't last quite so long. 1 game tends to eat up a good chunk of my battery life. Maybe I'm just slower than most people

I am firmly against the time limit thing. The open turn-based thing is what makes it work so well as a phone thing.

I mention it because it's one of the things I really like about the crystal defenders vanguard game. I enjoy being made to think on my feet (fingers?), but I can see why not everyone would like it.

Glad you guys are enjoying the game! Also, Diabolika on the iPhone, good idea! Is it changed in any way, or still the ol' classic edition?
The board is only 8x8, as opposed to 12x12. It has the basic pieces from Diabolika 1, but adds the special Cultist piece from Diabolika 2 as a regular piece. You can now detonate your bombs at any time (previous versions of the game had detonators that you were forced to use every few rounds). The scoring is also different and there's a new type of demon. It's not vastly different, but I think Diabolika iPhone is a much tighter experience overall... it's also on a platform that suits it a lot better!

I remember not liking the original that much and I bet it's because the forced detonation times and the large play area meant I died a lot before I even got the hang of it. 692700 pts./Round 340 on my 3rd try on this, though. Maybe I like it a lot because it's easier.

This looks a lot like Fuzzle (which isn't a bad thing, since I consider that to be one of the best iPhone games in existance, due to it's simplicity and infinite gameplay).
If someone has tried both, does it play somewhat the same?
