Hey Ho!

I want to start this Devlog with a clear goal.
We (Tinytouchtales) want to build a small Matching game for iOS before the
Christmas-Embargo starts. I have this small Protoype sitting in my
Sketchbook for a long time.

The basic Idea is a take on the Match-3 Genre with some small adjustments to it.

Rules:
Combine same colored Tokens (right now we think of Muffins) to make a score.
Those Tokens kann be stacked inside each other. Which means if you stack up at least
4 of the same kind you will make a Score. To Clear a Level you have to remove Tokens until
a specific amount (will vary from low to high levels) is reached. Your Game will end if there are
no more Matches left. You will need at least 4 to clear a color, but you have some options on how
to stack Tokens. Every Token amounts 1 Score-Point. Two level 1 Tokens will stack into a level 2 Token
(2 Points each), two Level 2 Tokens will stack up to a Level 3 (4 Points) Token. A level 3 Token + a Level
1 Token will result in 5 Score points. In the optimal way you can Score upto 8 Score Points per Match.

Short Version:  You always need to plan ahead. Your Score will raise with bigger Matches, but you need to Remove
Tokens to progress.

This first Gameplay Video should explain a little:

My to do List:
* Everything graphics related (Theme should be clear)
* Upto Level 4 i will "design" Levels, after that i will use a spawn algorithm base on the state of every Level
* Menus and everything not Gameplay related
* tweaking the shit out of the spawn algorithm Smiley

I'm a Designer myself and i'm using Stencyl to build my Games,
because i don't speak any specific coding language.

If you are interested in getting Beta access please write me your email for testflight -> [email protected]

Mhhh even if this devlog wasn't the most "transparent", i wanted to close it with our finished Game.

Muffin Munch is live in the AppStore for iPhone and iPad. Its a small Matching-Puzzler and can be downloaded for free!
We've uploaded a small Trailer to Youtube. You can watch the

.

Feel free to give us some Feedback if you have played it!

Wow, it took you roughly a month to complete. Great job! I wish I had that type of turnaround. I'll download it soon.
