We're testing two different border-styles for our visual novel right now, and we'd like to get some input on which one people like better! So if you had to pick, which style would you go with?

Wide view?

Or cozy view?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I prefer the cozy view. For some reason, the former feels a little too overstretched. But I would actually go the extra mile and have the old 4:3 aspect ratio from old CRT televisions.

A belated thanks to Dr. Büni for the reply! Also, I changed the title of this thread so we can use it for more general feedback about our visual novel's art.

One of the things that we've built recently is a pause menu animation. This gif also shows a hover effect that occurs when you mouse over the cards. What do you think?

Very cool! Maybe is not very clear what option is on focus, I would try to highlight the text.

We've made some promo art for our game's itch.io page:

We'd love to hear your thoughts. Any feedback is welcome!
