I like the names more than anything. They evoke a style just on their own.

I finally made my character's main weapon of choice- a big stick. (A wooden sword, to be exact.) this is brilliant, nice work man can i ask you, what are you using to do your background? is it a tilemap, or just sprites, a big bitmap, or some combination?? i wanna do backgrounds like this ....

That is some really delicious spriting Marty! I love the house and tree especially. Just gotta kick his feet out more and give some transition between follow through and ends. The awful red color is the back leg, while the lime puke is the facing leg. Thanks a bunch for the help there he looks a hell of a lot better now than what he was.

just lift that back leg up a notch when he brings it forward and it'll look perfect.

Reminds me of Gutsman from the Megaman Battle Network series.

i wanna do backgrounds like this ....
In the end you still have to know how to draw it, so I don't think it really matters how it's split up into tiles.

Yeah, totally. This short tutorial by Vierbit, I think, is really useful: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1899092/tiletut.png

I think I am pretty much finished. I'm ordering sets of these in 2x2 inches. If enough people buy them, as well as the posters I am designing, I'll have enough to print environment-resistant stickers! I will link my site when I am done with it.

My favorite is the Bomberman one up there. Trying to start a new tileset.

I really like the style of your tiles, Marty. Would look right at home on an SNES.
