I can't read anything Alevice types, because the cute asian chick is of more immediate interest.

I'm not distracted by flashing things, I'm distracted by tits and/or ass.

PROTIP: you can use the firefox plugin 'adblock plus' to block images that distract you, not just ads. I often block avatars that animate and signatures that animate exactly for this reason.
Thank you!

Hopefully mods are affected by this as well, so I can turn into a troll, and none has the enough attention to ban me.

But I don't mind most avatars, just the animated ones, so I don't want to punish the less annoying people just because of the more annoying people.

I don't mind image sigs, as long as the images aren't too big.

but what about the stockmarke-err, thos who don't use firefox, like the bunch of happy chrome users.
Hey, you chose the (slower) browser for which there are no extensions yet. Not the seizure avatarer's fault.

One can also press escape to stop the animations going on a page -- works in firefox and IE, at least.

I didn't think my avatar would be more annoying than an animated smiley or etc, though.

All this time I've been using Firefox, I didn't even know that... Thanks for the tip man!

Edit: Edited this post because it kind of sounded like I was being sarcastic before, but I seriously didn't know you could stop everything from moving in Firefox with Esc.

Since it takes 5 times more time to load a page compared to Firefox, I'd say it's quite slow.

it is quite the opposite for me. it takes minimal time for them to load and execute on chrome, wheras firefox cant take quite some time, horrible when there is firebug enabled.

My avatar isn't annoying, is it? I feel so naked if my avatars aren't animated. So naked and dead. After all, no one is perfectly still when conversing in real life, why should we be depicted as such in our online persona?
