Messiah Studio is an awesome 3d animation editor. It's easy to use and quite powerful.
There's a limited offer and you can grab it for $10 (basic version, regularly $499) or $40 for the pro version (regularly $1195) that even let you sketch over your 3d animation.

The basic version has a ridiculous limitation - no texture map output.

Edit: Oh, they're selling pro for $40. I'll just get that, I think.

I believe it's texture map baking to which you are referring.
