I'm tired of not having a repository for great animation on this forum. It seems like the place where there should be such a thing - like the kind of thing people around here would be able to appreciate. Not limited to shorts or things online, though a link to trailers would be nice for feature length films. Not limited to new or old. Just beauty, profundity, humor, greatness. Here are the three latest animations I've watched today: The Music Sceneand a personal favorite: So come on, let's watch some things that will blow our minds. And also,

MUTO by Blu - No doubt you've already seen this incredible graffiti animation that has nearly 7 million views:
Actually, I was not privileged to have experienced one of those seven million views; this was new to me. It was really excellent... pretty crazy imagery. The heads-coming-out-of-mouths part reminded me of Fullmetal Alchemist...

The philosophical rambling gets annoying but the animation is mindblasting. The faces, oh man, the faces.

I love how exaggerated everything is in Triplettes de Belleville. The portrayal of Americans is about as cruel as it is freaking hilarious. Plus, you don't even neen to speak French (or any language, really) to understand what is going on. There's less dialogue in it than Wall-E. Steel Fantasia (click the picture thumbs to watch) BrackenwoodA friend of mine finally got his senior animation up on YouTube earlier this week, so here's that: MashedThis should move to the art forum now?
A thread about any other cinematic style wouldn't, so why move this one?

The Secret of Kells was pretty nifty, I saw that a few days ago. It's very...hmmm. I dunno what it's like. That could be a good thing.

Life and Times of Tim(in my opinion one of the best animated series with adult humour) ->average office worker guy gets into most complicated and awkward situations... every single time. hilarious. Check out these short 1 min clips... Birthday
