They are really good! The original 50 sprites are excellent too (great colours), nice to see something else other than the 8 x 8 style that people could use.
Are you giving these animations away like the originals?

organized the file I was working on in a cute scheme of how I reached a sprite I like from a very rough concept. I started with a low-res mockup of the game just to think that I wanted to do 1:1 pixel art this time, I'm kind of sick of all those uglier-than-nes-graphics flash games and wanted to try 1:1 pixel art. Don't settle with the first thing you manage to shape and try to think out the box and add weird features to your sprite, you are a mad scientist, the bitmap file is your lab, and your sprite is like a mutant with a lot of possible DNA variations. For this sprite I wanted two things: - I wanted it to vaguely resemble a xenomorph, but in a cuter and not-copyright infringing way. - I wanted it purple, because levels in the game are going to be a mix of blue an orange, and purple stands out but not that much to create color clash. The game will be a platformer\tower-defense inside a spaceship and the screen will be filled with creatures like this one. some more sprites: C&C are welcome!

That's actually a really cool process, and a cool enemy, as well. I like the human characters, but the gray portion on their suit feels pillow-shaded - add some highlights and shadows to make it stick out. The arms could be a pixel or two longer, I think, to make it reach mid-thigh, if you wanted to. Anyway, nice work, indeed!

Anyway, nice work, indeed! yes the gray part is, not shaded at all basically I'll surely tweak the body a bit, I rarely settle on something without a lot of tweaking and that's the first "draft" for the player sprite and one npc, and you're right about the arms!

I don't really feel like I own them. Even though I made each frame of the animation, the credit really lies with svh440. I've posted each one as a spritesheet on reddit, I'll get them all together and post them. @initials dang those are really great animations, really dig the designs as well by svh440
Thanks!

Great pixel work, though I think the pistol could be used for shooter and maybe a different graphic for action - perhaps a sword and shield.
