Oh thanks all my friends! @Fenrir shakeHand() I'm a big fan of Lua. @Griffith Thank you for asking that! There are some little tricks which I will share in future updates. @Yaw Pixel 'the' Art @Oroboros @flipswitchx Zelda-like is a lazy explanation on the gameplay. Earthbound/Mother3 is one of the most important inspirations! I really should mentioned it in OP. @SpikeSpiegel I think Early Access for a narration oriented game would be quite difficult to manage, we will discuss about it later. @M4uesviecr Man, you've given us so much pressure!! ... which is not that bad I guess.

Nice utilization of lighting effects that pixel art games usually don't take advantage of. While it is noticeable that the lighting isn't pixel art, it doesn't clash or detract from the art at all. Excellent implementation. Obviously, the pixel art itself is superb also.
Looking forward to more. Especially in regards to gameplay. More screenshots and gifs are always welcome though.

Thank you for understanding me( the code guy )!! We are working on gameplay already, however it will take time for us to give something fancy. Thanks again!

Wow. One of the best-looking pixelated games I've seen in a long time, without a doubt. Just curious: are you borrowing any inspiration for the premise from The Road/The Last of Us?

We are big fan of Naughty Dog. The idea of father/daughter is somehow influenced by TLOU. However, both of these 2 masterpieces have a very heavy mood which we'd like to avoid.

I absolutely love the art design for this. Such a vivid and harmonious color palette. I rated and favorited it on GL. Really looking forward to seeing how it'll shape up in the coming months!

I suppose the only game that's comparable to Eastward right now could be Mother 4, but this... is fucking amazing looking

Are objects linked to 3D volume objects for their lighting?
