Hey Tiggers,

I decided to learn HaxeFlixel and to get back into the habit of finishing projects.  And the way I decided to do so is to:

  • Make 9 week-long games in 12 weeks.
  • Every 4th week, port the previous 3 games to another platform(probably Android).
  • In the 4th month, port everything to every platform that I can with HaxeFlixel.  I'll probably just do the games I/you like to be honest.
  • Share everything with the WORLD!!!

Here are the games I have made so far:

  • Week 1 - Personal Space Invaders | Flash | Android | Dodge 'em Up
  • Week 2 - Trench Invaders | Flash | Android | Shmup
  • Week 3 - Block Jumper | Flash | Android | Endless Runner
  • Week 5 - Wormageddon | Flash | Dirt Swimming???
  • Week 6 - Cog Love | Flash | Got Whip?
  • Week 7 - Blocks That Match | Flash | Chaching.

And in the interest of sharing everything with the WORLD!!!!  The source code and assets are available here Beer!

best for me is Wormageddon, with a bit of polishing it can make a really cool mobile game.

Thanks!  I wish I had more time for level design.  There was a LOT left on the table with it.

best for me is Wormageddon, with a bit of polishing it can make a really cool mobile game.

I will definitely be playing this one a lot once I get it ported. I need to figure out where to find some more depth in the gameplay though.  As it stands, it's kind of just a gimmick and could get old pretty quickly.

New game complete!  I have just released the week 7 game for this project.  I must admit, I will probably never make a match 3 game again, but it's done and I'm happy with it!

Holy crap, really liked 'Cog Love'. Played it a bit too much at work!

Only problem I had was the first level where there are cogs off screen. Didn't immediately realize that there were more, thought the game bugged out or something at first.
