I created a forum for people to discuss game development. Our starting audience will consist mostly of brilliant minded college students who are studying game development majors at the University of Advancing Technology. The forum is a free forum since it's all I could afford right now, but it should be a pretty good little discussion group. Every night at 7pm Central Time, I will post a new topic which asks questions and challenges you and is generally related to game development.

I can, this discussion forum I made is just meant as more of a side forum for people. I'm not asking them to desert tigsource. It's just easier for me to get my talented college friends who will answer your questions to my own forum. That and a bunch of other reasons.

The point is ~100% of the people at TIGS will not go there cause TIGS is already a potent and established place for discussion. Maybe it'd good for you to have a single place for your questions but it's just weird for everyone else who also DOES participate in such a place for some time.

Most people join forums that have users and content already. If you have no users or content, you won't be able to build up users and content.
