SUP.

HERE I GO!

HOLY FUCK THEY HAVE SO MUCH HP IN ICELAND...

Anyway here're some photos from Iceland.  I was there for a week (Also Greenland for a day.)

This is sunrise.  I left JFK (NYC Airport) at 8:30pm, and arrived in Iceland at like 7am.  That day sucked.

(Almost fell down a waterfall for that one)

(Greenland)

(Greenland)

Of course I was sporting my favorite velociraptor shirt.

If I ever see a rainbow before taking off in a plane again I'm going to shit bricks.  Landing at JFK through that tropical storm was not a good time at all.  I definitely thought I was going to die watching My Name is Earl on a little 9" LCD screen with 2 dollar headphones.

Heres the set with bigger pictures and the rest of them: http://flickr.com/photos/13726946@N03/sets/72157607238391262/

I did some tours on buses which explored the west and south coasts of Iceland, which most of the pictures are from.  My hotel was right in this awesome plaza type place in the great city of Reykjavik.  I also ate some Puffin which was really gross and I don't recommend it to anyone.  After that it was straight pasta and burgers you better believe it...  I somehow ended up in Greenland for a day as well which is the most desolate place on earth short of the North and South Poles.  Good times! Grin

The Brotherhood of the Travelling Indie Game T-Shirt

Also, shit hot photos dude.
Some of them look a little like the default windows desktop themes. Are you really sure you left the house?

It looks really nice there.  Kinda like Oregon, but without trees.

I... I'm not sure.  What if this is all a dream.  What if we're all just the dream of some indie developer... somewhere in Iceland.

If this was the 70's, you could write a metal song about it and it would be an instant hit.

*enter riff*
11 hours of plane.
My name is Earl on 2 buck earphones.
Almost fell down a waterfall.
Icelandic sunlight.
Rainbow over the planes.
*enter Deep Purplicious guitar solo*

Iceland is indeed pretty.  If you're into exploring and hiking and are more physically fit than I am, its probably a better trip.  You can do a lot of shit with that... but I just rode on some busses, took pictures, and ate a lot of food.

CAREFUL THOUGH.  They have a volcano under a glacier.  And they expect it to erupt sometime in the near future and that will cause catastrophic flooding.  At least, that's what I heard from the townsfolk.

Yeah the irony is that Iceland is very green, and Greenland is covered in ice!

You know, I thought that was common knowledge, but every single one of my relatives believed that the place I was going to was going to be the equivalent of Antarctica.
