Fun Fact: It originally was Microcosmos, but I change it to Microcosm to be more "punny". If you think Microcosmos would work better however, then I guess I can change the name. You should make the game so it ALWAYS ends with the overpopulation of the small world and the decline and destruction of it, depicting the struggle of the human race to realize it's parasitic behaviour.
But you know, it's your game... Seems like a totally depressing ending for an otherwise light-hearted game. ...but its totally awesome, so I'll do it...

I'm not sure how that's punny at all. In this case "micro" is literal, for part of the game anyway. I'd go with Microcosmos (of the two) for sure. In the title art you could really play up the micro (small) cosmos (vast) contrast. Trying to find a name for; a MOBA featuring only elvish archers
Let Fly Your Arrows Give us a little more of the story or setting – why are the elves at war? General comment: Game names based entirely on the genre/mechanic/technology/etc are super lame (unless the game is itself a comment on the genre/mechanic/etc).

Alright, I stumbled upon this topic, and I figured why not ask about my game's name?
It's a mix of Metroidvania/Roguelike. It's in 2D, and it takes place in a not-so-serious environment, in which the players will have to fight some weird monsters and badass bosses. Yeah.
Anyway, the game we currently have is "Castloid". We figured it's not bad, but I think some people on the Internet (Damn you, random people of the Internet) call the Metroidvania kind of games "Castloid" as well. What do you guys think? (Oh, and if you look on Google, you'll probably stumble upon a "Project Castloid", that's us.)

We have released "Sugar Kid" ( http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=26376.0). And we are near to release a freemium version. But I don't want to call it "Sugar Kid Free", because is like make this to be something bad. I have thought to call it "Sugar Kid - Turbo Edition" (appart from free, the game is more direct too), but my team says it's too vague. What do you think?

So there will be a free and a premium version of the game? How about calling it "Sugar Kid Light"? It's still a reference to sugar content, but imo in a more positive way. Then the true "sugar lover" will want to buy "Sugar Kid - Premium Caries Edition"

Sugar Kid - Sugar Free Edition? or maybe Sugar Kid - Less Sugar Edition? So the game won't be that...sweet? & Sugar Kid - Sweet, Sweet Sugar?

Firstly, "Sugar kid" is as super cool name, and the previous suggestion of "Sugar Kid Light" is probably a winner, but how about "Sugar Kid: Low-Cal"?

Double Posting on purpose because it's a very different topic. How about Sugar Kid Max (as in Pepsi Max) Sugar-Free Kid (hmm, sounds nice on the tongue though) Sugar Kid Candy Candy Kid Kid Creole and the Coconuts ( hang on.... )

We're making a game about vikings, where 4 teams of vikings raid each other and a central npc town to get food to survive the winter. We were thinking maybe something involving Norse Mythology. Some names we're considering: Clashing of Axes Midgard Mayhem/Madness Axe Age Badaxes

Why not just 'Norse'?
It is catchy, easy to remember, it does what it says on the tin, and short words can make for great logo's.
