Test the game now at http://65.188.187.138:50000, just don't get mad at me if the Goblin General won't die! I will be working on this all day, shifting things around and such. So if your game reloads, I've added another update to the game or so.

Tomorrow I'll have the first section of world map finished, and then I'll integrate it into the game. Should be neat! Also, I'm hoping art will come rolling in so I can plug it into the game.

Thanks man! I'm committed every inch of the way to make this game a reality, and I've got a lot more ideas past this game that I want to springboard off this game into. So your support helps me a great deal.

Nice menu screen, I think it was a good choice to simplify the sub text a bit. Although I think "Fantasy Wordplay Combat" would describe it a bit better. Not sure if you wanted Puzzle in there somewhere though The board UI is looking nicer, although have you thought about doing little squares of paper above the 'page' instead of indenting them? I did a quick rough mock up to show you what I mean: Just food for thought, either way this is shaping up very nicely, good work!

Aw dude thanks for the idea, but the letter tiles are supposed to look like they're "a part" of the page. Making them look "sunken in" goes a long way for that.

Board still in progress. New texture, new icon, new letters... even the word entry is getting into the act! Lots of behinds the scenes work as I change things over. I like to iterate, and I think this board look is better than the previous, plus I am getting the board ready for the fancy new player/enemy UI that I want to place.

Today will be hooking up the letters (again) but hopefully this will be the last time. I've already started concepting the Wordsmith attacks and passives, so you'll see more of the UI completed today as well. Chugalug

Looking good Ashodin! I really like the paper tear-ish effect you've got on some of those letters (top right side, the O and P, and bottom left, the D and U) Are you going to extend that up/down the whole sides?
