Ninja Spike Avoider is a simple platform game in which you avoid spikes while trying to collect all the coins in each level.

You can play it here; https://tadgames.itch.io/ninja-spike-avoider

This game is the first in a series of games made with Tad's Basic Game Objects
that also has a full video tutorial series going over how to code it;

The full source code for the game is here; https://github.com/tabageos/tabageos/tree/main/ninjaSpikeAvoider

You can play the game, learn how to code it, and make your own version of it!

Using Tad's Basic Game Objects it takes less than 400 lines of code,
and the game works across all devices,
without webgl, and with touch screen support and usb game pad support.

Hey Action Tad,

Your game is pretty fun.  I'm impressed it's only 400 lines.

I only have one bit of criticism.  When I'm wall sliding and I want to wall jump I have to press the direction away from the wall.  This can be tricky to do because I may pull away from the wall without jumping.  It would be nice if the ninja would kick off the wall even though I'm pressing into the wall.

Nice job!
