We -Kyttaro Games- are the owners of
Bundle In A Box and along with its next release (due shortly) we'd like to announce the next round of our Indie Developers' Grant, our effort to support fellow indie game developers through the proceedings of our bundle.
The Indie Dev Grant, that popular feature of Bundle In A Box we are most proud of, is a grant designed to help indie game developers actually create the games they’ve always wanted to. For every 100 bundles sold, $10 will be added to the grant, usually along with some private donations. One indie developer (be it a group or an individual), voted by the esteemed fans of Bundle in a Box will get the whole amount after the bundle ends.
You can participate by submitting a small presentation of the project you'd like to use the grant for. It doesn't have to be a finished product of course, and participation does not mean that you will sell your game through the bundle.
A mere presentation of your concept usually does the trick!
No strings will be attached by either Bundle in a Box or Kyttaro Games.Previous Indie Dev Grants have managed to accumulate amounts of about $700 each. Along with our own part of the proceddings -that we do hope will be a bit more this time!- we are in he process of gathering some extra donations that could bump this up significantly.
Anyway, apart from the chance of earning some additional funds for your project, it's also a nice opportunity to get yourselves exposed to the public at no cost!
