Me too. It must be an awesome sensation to work on a game with a group of people by your side.

How about getting a job? I'm serious here. You get to work with people, you can get some handy contacts, and it can be a very useful experience, even if your goal is to become indie eventually.

I want to get a job one day, but I want to finish uni before that. But yeah, I'd love to work one day in a video-game company, either large (e.g. Criterion) or small (e.g. Croteam).

After moving to a new city, I ended up using the Meetup website to find events and groups that were focused around game development. After going to a few of the events I eventually started finding people to work with.

Lately though, I've been thinking about hitting up the local colleges to find up-and-comers who need some dev experience for their resumes'. Haven't tried it yet though, has anyone else? Does it work?
