Worked on my non-digital game design document. I think I got something good here. It's like Shadowrun, but incredibly streamlined.

So I just tried my hand at video editing and somehow ended up with everything all over the place. Starting over now. I think I've spent longer trying to make a game video (for MechaFrog) than I have making the game over the course of the day.
Learning new things is fun. And sometimes really frustrating.

For the first time since I've had the Kinect I disconnected it from my Linux box (where it's used for cheap motion-capture via OpenCV and libfreenect), and connected it to the 360 to play the "Kinect Adventures" game that came with the device. I've just destroyed the "Kinect Adventures" disk so that if it is ever allowed to visit its curse upon another other living soul, the blood will not be on my hands. This was the most painful experience I've ever endured to cross a game off my backlog list.

I find it ironic how Kinect has been a lot more useful for everything else other than playing games. Maybe there are a few exceptions (I've heard than Dance Central controls well under it), but in general the word goes that Kinect isn't very pleasing to play games with.

I've been reading THIS BOOK a bit. I tried the line out in a C64 emulator. It worked.

fed my guinea pigs Pookie and Muumuu. They hate each other and I think Muumuu is blind (or maybe just dumb).
