yeah, well-- it took me by surprise that I was able to get the atmosphere that it has now, so I'm gonna have to let people down because I really don't think I'll manage.

You're using GM, right? I could probably lend a hand with occasional rain implementation. I've got a few ideas now about how it could be done.

It's not that I don't know how to implement it (because I know), it's just that I'm afraid that will kill the atmosphere a lot.

I think after all the support you should at least try. If you think it doesn't feel right, you'll remove it.

Yes, I agree. There's no harm in trying it, is there? I mean, unless it takes loads of time? I'm not very familiar with GM.

OK, I can see your point actually. A rainy evening is nothing like a clear evening. I think you should leave the rain for another game; stick with your gut on this one.

Yeah, I tried it-- and it just doesn't feel right.
Any suggestions on gameplay elements in this?

What about having an interior environment? The game area is still quite small: it would be nice to see it extended a little.

How about a fountain? Like with the thing in the middle that shoots water out in a dome? And if you land in it, it's harder to fly.

This game must be finished. Exploration, observation, adventure game + bird protagonist = win. I actually registered to post this, it should prove you have a great thing going here.

Thanks for the comments, I really didn't expect this to get this much praise. Unfortunately, I've been uninspired as fuck about this. So either it will take quite some time before I'll come with an update of this, or maybe I will release the source or something (game maker).

I registered on the forums just for this.
I really like the concept, it's meaningless, yet so very atmospheric (yes, I am new to the so called indie scene). Just flapping about in a peaceful environment. However, I still don't feel very within the atmosphere. I flap about yes, but that's about. I want to flap and feel the atmosphere, let the tree rustle a bit when you fly by, the cat curiously look up occasionally. Also, I wanna sit in a tree.
Just my thoughts of a newbie to the scene on this. I really love this, and hope to see more of these concepts.
(Edit: And I keep getting stuck on the slopes :<)
