Hello everyone Smiley,

In the middle of work and all, we participated on this year's Global Game Jam.

As some of you may know, the theme was extinction. So we decided to take a more weird approach, being more philosophical and... *gulp*... artsy maybe? Beg

Our game is Called The Rain and The Mist:
We Managed to get two achivementes, namely the One Hit Wonder, in which you can pay it only once. And Couples Game (Although that one can be debatable).

The download page

You can download for PC or MAC in English or Spanish

Some screenshots Smiley

Hope you like it.

Any feeback will be always appreciated, good or bad n_n.

Gameplay is nothing I haven't seen before, but it works well. I would have liked to see smooth movement between tiles when holding down the same direction (instead of the start/stop), but that's a minor complaint.

I love the smooth transition between levels. The atmosphere in general is rather nice and soothing.

Kept me interested until the ending. Bit of an anticlimax as it's less hinted at and more blatantly stated and beaten over your head, but I appreciated how the level design incorporated more and more falling blocks to reflect that theme.
