Could you somehow combine the issues of "no point" and "no common seed" by allowing players to share a file that both contains the seed used for their most recent run as well as the level they reached? The goal would then be to reach the same level...

continuation: levels 60-76



picking up a 16 heat seek token was a large mistake because my range started decaying. also, most of the time I was too concerned with immediate survival to risk entering things.

i can't imagine anyone having fun comparing notes and strategies for beating a procedurally generated level

That part was specifically referring to a 'fixed seed' common trunk, not to procedurally generated levels
