Hello again guys, last week we did some work on the tank design for Scribbled Arena, some concept art of the tanks that were to be added in the game. The work is not fully finished but this is the general idea how the tanks will look like.

There is yet some alterations to be made in this design, but we finished this much and also working on some other art for the game.

Hello guys, just an update on the progress on Scribbled Arena.
So we came up with some new characters for the game. These characters will play as an interactive medium for the players and will pop up to guide you and inform you everything there is to, atleast some of them, others will have different roles. The characters comes up in Tutorial guide, boss , level selection, and more. The characters comes with some background story for the game, well not particularly story but somewhat like that, you will get it once you see them. We finished 3 characters design and so far they look good. Have a look.......

Bronn                                                                            Gloo                                                                                   The Evil AI Overlord

This is how we intend to use these characters in the game.

Hello guys,
So in the past 3 months we have been participating in some exhibitions and events to showcase our game and get a direct opinion of what people think of our game, 'Scribbled Arena'.
We got into 3 different exhibitions, one in every month.

1. We started off with the one in November called 'Indian Games Expo'. It was a 2-day event and as the name suggests this was a game showcase exhibition with many huge titles showcased and had a cosplay competition and some other prize. The crowd was great and we got to meet some nice people who loved the game. Though i have to say that our setup at this event was not up to the mark, but it improved with the 2nd and the 3rd one.

2. The 2nd one was in December and it was the 'Mumbai Film & Comic Convention 2015' or as we all know as 'Comic-con'. The crowd was huge and awesome. Again a very busy 2 day event and the best of all the three. The setup here was very presentable, Also, we came up with the idea of getting people to write their review of the game on a sticky note and post it on the wall of the booth. At the end of the 2 day event the back wall of the booth was fully covered with sticky notes filled with the feedback of the people who played the game. We also managed to get around 1000 subscribers in just 2 days who wanted to play the game when it was released on steam.

  Before
  After

3. And the last one was just this Sunday called 'Video Game Fest Pune 2016'. This was only a single day event but this was not in our home city, so we got to meet a new crowd. And we were happy to know that no matter what city we are in, the response of the people for the game will be the game.

It was an wonderful experience where we could interact with the amazing audience and get to know what they thought about the game after trying it out, what according to them should be improved or changed or added, it was a great way to extend the awareness of the game and meet game enthusiasts who loved our game.
In all we interacted with new people, showcased the game and made more people aware of the game and got to know what they thought about it

Hey guys, its been a while since this was last updated,  well that's because its been a very busy week, as i told you guys earlier we are launching the game on early-access in probably ealry april, and we have been working hard on it lately, and to top that up we also are launching a major update for the android version, so its been crazy out here.

We dont have anything to show you people right now, but we will be coming up with many new thing very soon. Currently we are almost in the Beta phase for the game, with the UI being worked on as we speak. The core features are being reworked to go well for a PC audience.
Once we have something to show for the UI design i'll be posting it here because we need some feedback on it, weather it looks good, is there something that needs changing, etc.

So till then stay tuned and if you guys like what you see, you can follow us,

Hello again guys, this time we are going to tell you some changes that we have been planning to bring to the game. The topic we have been discussing lately is the Tank customization option that the player has in the game. Let me explain it to you.

We came down to two options to select from,

The first option is the one which is similar to the mobile version, in which the player has a option to select the tank, the weapons and the power-ups. So the player can browse the garage and select a tank after which he has the option to customize it with the weapons and power-ups of his choice. In this option the player has a wide range of possibilities to customize his tank. The game delivers you a variety of weapons and power-up to choose from. Which helps the player to build his own tank according to his needs. One can blend a perfect tank which will serve him the best and bring him the flag of victory.

And the second option that we have come up with is making the tank pre-customised. In this option, the game provides the players with pre-customised tanks having specific weapons and power-up to select from. The player can select from a range of 8-10 HEROES(tanks), every one of them having a specific set of skills(weapons - power-up). This option is similar to all the character selection screen in MOBA type games where the person has to select from a range of heroes that have their distinct set of abilities.

This is what the Tank selection or Tank upgrade looks like in the Android. This is basically the garage in which you can select and upgrade the tank and customize it

Other than this there are going to be a ton of changes but that will be all for now. The multiplayer gameplay will be the same with three game modes :
    One on One Fight
    Trophy collection
    Coin collection

As we mentioned earlier the game will be released in Early-Access, which will not comprise of all the features that we plan to include in the game. For eg. the early-access will consist of only  1 vs 1 Fight, that will be later on increased to 3 vs 3 and also 5 vs 5, and tons of other feature whcih you will get to know very soon.
Currently we are almost in the Beta phase for the game, with the UI being worked on as we speak. The core features are being reworked to go well for a PC audience and you all are in for a fun time when the game launches in April. We have a lot to show you in the following weeks, stay tuned, stay prepared all you gladiators, because you know ‘Scribbled Arena’ emphasis on Arena!

Hey Everyone Wink

Hello again, this time we have not come empty handed, we actually have something to show you guys. Guess what, Guess what!! Yes it's our UI design. We were able to complete some major work on the UI in the past few weeks. What you see is the first look of some of the work that we've finished, it may as well be the final layout, apart from some minor changes that will be added later. The UI is made up with doodles, just like everything else in the game!

Today we are showing you the Custom Matchmaking option under the Play tab. There are two team both preparing for battle. On the right you can see you friend list from which you can invite your friends to your party. On the right side of each friend you can see people who are already in the party and the ones who can still be invited. At the very bottom of the screen is the chat option, we are currently chatting with 4 friends. On the lower left there's party chat window and along with it is the Start Game, Game Options and Leave Lobby option. Under the game option, the player can customize the settings of that game they are in right now. This is a custom 5 Vs 5 match, in which some of the players have already joined the party, and there are 2 empty slots, one of which shows that a request to join the game is already sent and waiting for the player to accept it, and the other one is the option that the party leader gets on right clicking on the players i.e., info, chat (personal), and kick from the party.

All the other tabs on the top of the screen are pretty straightforward. Under the play tab there are several matchmaking types that you can choose from, such as; Ranked, Custom, Campaign (Single player mode), which will be added later on. There’s also other tabs you can see such as the Garage, where you can see a collection of all the Tanks, and the Settings and the Quit Game tab. The News option will show you all the latest updates and upcoming content. Finally, the Community and the Stats option, under the community screen you can see your Global ranking or your team ranking, and in the Stats screen, your personal bests & totals!

So tell us what you thing, we are looking forward for all your feedback

As the Game design is almost at completion we can tell you more about weapons & power-ups, tanks and the Singleplayer and Multiplayer option.
We start with the multiplayer option as that is the heat of the whole game. We will tell you everything there is to know about the multiplayer option in the game starting from different game modes, the player limits and multiplayer type the player can choose from.

Starting with the player limit, the player get to choose from three different options of 1vs1, 3vs3 and 5vs5 or the player can create a custom game where they can set the player limit and customize the team (1vs3 or 2vs4) with a maximum limit of 10 player.

Moving on, there are various multiplayer modes, which are pretty basic and you find them in usually all multiplayer games. The first one is the most important one, Online. The online game type comprises of 5 different game options as follows, Ranked Matches, Unranked Matches, MMR (Match Making Rating), Matchmaking, and at last, Custom Games.  The second option is to play on LAN and the last one is Shared Screen (two people playing together on a same screen).

And lastly a whole lot of Game Modes that player will choose from. Some of them are very common and some of them are new, there are a total of 8 game modes in the Multiplayer Option. Starting with the very basic ones which doesn’t need any explanation. We have Deathmatch, Free-For-All, Search and destroy, Capture the Flag, Domination and Assassination, with some new one's such as King of the Hill and Bounty hunt. The King of the Hill goes like this, there will be a location in the map in which a player will have to stay in to collect points, the more time a player stays in the location the higher they can score. And for the Bounty Hunt game mode, it is a variant of Free-For-All and Assassination. At the start of the game a random player will be selected as the VIP and the objective of the game will be to score the most points to win. Killing a non-VIP will grant 1 point and killing a VIP will grant 10 points. If a VIP kills someone, they will be granted 5 points for each kill. When a non-VIP kills a VIP, they will become the next VIP.
