@ Yoshimitsu Dat Guitar man, i'm loving it. Edit: Here is my entry as of now, it takes a dark approach with no particular game in mind but rather the idea of losing, it feels depressing to see that game over screen and i want a tune that captures that. Hence 'To Lose'. http://soundcloud.com/jacob-morrison-gardiner/to-lose

Hi, I'm new here... and I'dlike to be part of this challenge. Actually, I began composing today ... And I hope my little piece will be done very soon (tonight?) We'll see.

It is preferable that what you post be the final product.

Only spent an hour on this, so it's short (and midi-ish), but I'm pretty happy with it: The Sad Ending

pgil, listening right now. I'd have to agree that it sounds a little too much like MIDI instruments: there isn't even much reverb. Not that this IS a problem for the purpose of this challenge. On the contrary, the flute sounds pretty nice. The others, I left comments on your links.

I accidentally had an entire channel turned off when I saved and uploaded mine and somehow didn't notice. Continue? (Y/N) (fixed) (I didn't actually make any changes to the thing I just fixed me being dumb.)

I'm very nearly finished with a song. Just need to do a few tweaks and a bit of mixing, and i"ll have something to show. Horray!

(Y/N) (fixed) (I didn't actually make any changes to the thing I just fixed me being dumb.) This is very good. For the most part I like the sounds. It looks like you used a lot of warped textures, which makes it feel abstract like yoshimitsu said. Your bass instrument gives it a seriously dark feel. One thing that I'm not to crazy about is your drum. It has this chirping quality to it that feels out of place. It almost sounds like a sample of someone skidding a sneaker over some linoleum tiles sped up super fast.

Alright, here's what I got: http://soundcloud.com/arobott/hes-dead-jim-1Also, I just want to say that I've listened to all the other entries so far, and they are all fantastic. Once I get a chance to, I'll post my opinions of each of the tracks. There are definitely some great musicians on this board though!

This is actually too good, but i find it hard to imagine it being used as a game over screen of all things. Do you have any other projects that i could listen too of yours? I want more.
