Being lost is no fun.

One definition of  lost is an incapacity of figuring out patterns in a system, the game is not this kind of lost. But rather lost from seeing things in a very mechanical way, I tryed to make it so it could be like a machine would see it. : )

So is the crazyawesome distortion thing on the "banners" material or script? If script how did you do it because it looks awesome.

It's scripting. It's actually shaking really fast, the the distortion are redraw lines I think. : ) It only appears in screen recorder, if I take aa screen shot it doesn't show. A irc friend ZeroShadow on #unity coded this bit for me Smiley

I just love when things randomly creates artworks

The art looks really cool and surely I'd have to give it a chance before I would decide on it.  I just hope it doesn't make me feel  Durr...?

Glitch art is the best!  My friend and I have been collecting glitch art since 2003 or so.  I even set up an exhibition for it in one of my classes.  Keep collecting them!  Maybe someday we can all have a show.

I haven't had a chance to check out Drypoint yet, but Valentinel was great.  I too have wanted to make a glitch art game, so I can't wait to see what you come up with here.

Wow. This "game" is truly a vision. I love how your movement in the environment really slows down to a crawl. The only thing I know is that what's close to me is still, and what is a ways off shakes like crazy. My brain goes into some kind of reptile mode. I only know what's right in front of me, but I have no idea how to move further than that. And I begin to wonder; are there "levels" that I happen to walk into? Does the world and messages change? Or do I just happen to find things I didn't see earlier?

Just make sure you don't tell us how it's done, Ika, at least not for a while. This is exploration on a level I haven't experienced before. Incredible.

I also love to soundtrack. I believe that a lot of what you hear is enviromental, it's seems to be affected by the distortions I see, but that could also be just very clever soundwork. The soundtrack could be made longer though, or at maybe create variations that loop/randomize while you play. With a game like this you can make the soundtrack as complicated as you want. It'll only deepen the experience.

I have mixed feelings at the moment about this. From a sheer gameplay point of view I can't say I "enjoyed" the experience, but when I look deeper and realize that you have created an exploration game where simple comprehending your world is the challenge, I have to admire the game.

Is there a end to this game? Because I just spent half an hour figuring out the entire layout of the game, and haven't found one. Just realized that there probably isn't one. Didn't take that long to figure out what was happening, though. Probably just me.

Also, this post may not make much sense. Sorry. It's 3AM.

Very attractive. I am left wondering whether the game is misleading me into believing that there is a goal, or that it's really freaking difficult to achieve said goal. Whichever it is, I think this is a success.
