In preparation for ludum dare 25 I did a 12 hour development livestream, the goal being to create a cross-platform game prototype in under 12 hours using this engine. I had to leave out a few features but the game can be downloaded and played here, it's somewhat of a mish/mash zelda+roguelike clone. It was created using my "Aether" game engine, which you can view the thread about here
http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=30284.0Controls are simple, arrows move, space swings sword, i passed 12 hours so I had to leave out any use for the bombs and arrows or item slot, chests contain sword and heart upgrades but require keys to open which is a rare drop from monsters.
There are 128 floors, randomly generated each playthrough, and all rooms/enemy lists are randomly created as well. (simple recursive maze generation with a second pass to remove rooms in clustered areas). The linux version has online high scores that save how deep you managed to get before dying, unfortunately i found a bug in the windows version of the netcode in my library and had to temporarily disable it.
