Sigh, seems like I gained only Obulis from Indie Puzzle pack since Chains and Gumboy lag for some reason like a hell even though their requirements should be well in my PC's range and background apps closed At least Obulis worked and was nice. And I still have Osmos and Ben There and Dan that and Time gentlemen please! Maybe I could buy still one cheap game. Any ideas for good shmup or (retro)action? Geometry Wars looks nice but I get it has only highscore mode or something?

How good is your PC? Shatter is awesome for that sort of thing.

I got a pretty hefty machine so Shatter works like a dream here, but I imagine it might be hard for other people to run it, what with its lack of settings.
Oooh, lots of good stuff today.

The Void is one of the few games that successfully combine "artsy" weirdness and gameplay depth. Granted, it's often frustrating and has its fair share of flaws. It's easy to get yourself into "unwinnable" situations without knowing where you went wrong, forcing you to start a new game. Despite that though, it's still more than worth playing because it's really unlike anything else out there, not to mention oozing with atmosphere.
Anyway, what about Cryostasis, another supposedly unique Russian game? Is that worth getting?

Thank you so much for mentioning that Theif is on sale. I love Theif so very much and it's so hard to find. At 3 bucks, the price is right for a peice of original stealth-shooting fun.

Yeah, for 5 bucks The Void was more than worth it, and it's still very much owrth it for 10 bucks, even if just to experience the strange atmosphere. But yeah, it can be awfully frustrating, and you have to think your steps carefully.

Also quite good, not as weird as The Void but still very interesting. PS: For those playing The Void, there is an easy and medium patch on the forums that makes it a little more bearable. The unpatched game is terribly difficult and allows little mistakes.

I'm back home, and Steam seem to have cleaned up their act so I can buy stuff without emailing for permission. But I am still stuck with a six year old laptop. Bought the Introversion pack and Bioshock, in the hope that the shadershock fan patch will work and I can run it. I didn't like the demo much, but I suppose I should find out what all the fuss was about.

I was expecting (maybe just hoping for, it is hard to say) Space Asshole. I did not leave disappointed. I was actually listening to the MP3 when I clicked that link. :D

Yeah, my Pc falls bit under Shatter's requirements and doesn't have demo it seems so I'm not going to buy it, especially since it's normal price now. Now downloading demos for Aurdiosurf and Beat Hazard. Oh and that thief looks intriguing except it says it doesn't support laptop play. What does that exactly mean since I may have to buy laptop soon when moving out for university studying? Has it something to do with required keys, simply won't work or what?

No, that message is from when the game originally came out. Any modern laptop pretty much will run it.

Thanks Tanner, but seems like I missed the sale of Thief Still one question: Have anyone here Audiosurf? I downloaded the demo and it was really fun but I'd like to hear opinions does it get repetitive soon?

I played a lot in the beginning, but that changed pretty quickly. It is still a great game to fire up once in a while to listen to some new songs.

Got Necrovision. It seems like some kind of interesting setting to me. Atleast the trailer felt like I could have some fun with it.

Introversion Complete pack for 5 USD. I own none of those games. This deal sounds tempting. Any other deals and games really worth getting?
