I love that explosion when the crab dies, it leaves a big crater and everything! Nice touch.

Happy to finally join this thread with a ZBrush monster I made:

Super sweet sculpt man.  I don't think there's much more learning to be had - sub-objects, asymmetry, good brush work.  It's all just a matter of subdividing and doing the fine details from there.

EDIT:  You got me in the sculpting mood and I had a half hour to spare after work...


HOT DANG!

This sculpt looks great. Can't wait to see it finished.

Your sculpts look pretty good, Carville and Elliot. The only issue is that they're a bit mushy. I can't really recommend a course of action since I've never used a sculpting program, but try hardening those edges.



Working on that KoE character again, trying some new stuff like actual hand textures and more lighting painted in:

After playing Kentucky Route 0, I am trying to figure out how to do pure vertex colored stuff:



This is a sort of self portrait.

I think that I need to do model sheets in something like illustrator first to get things like the face looking good before I bring it into blender.

Sculpt before bed.

Playing around with a crustacean kinda guy, with bits of pig here and there. Wish I'd had time to pull out his tentacle stache a little more, but it's well and truly time for sleep now, haha.

@noumenus - Really cool character. Reminds me of that show that used to come on Toon Disney - Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go, or Medabots. Really slick, simple modeling, and clean textures. Nice!

@Geti - Looks like a hairy old man with a beard and moustache to me. Looks pretty good, though!
