Hm, an X-head got to look rather awkward :S
Sweet game! It might be called "short-lived", but hey, fun anyway! I just think for some reason I won't find a friend playing this against me. I say this needs online play! Wink

I just wanted to say, I'm about to put this game on my laptop, just so a friend and I can play it on the aereo-plane.  I'm pretty sure it will make us the envy of everyone else on the flight, and probably in the airport and state.

This rules!

There's actually a multiplayer alpha circulating. Thewreck is off the net for the week though, but if I know him right he'll have at least ten off-the-charts games done when he returns, including tigduels-multiplayer Smiley

That would be a positively astounding display of technology at work, my scholarly sir.

Is it powered by steam? Natch, I should certainly hope so, such wondrously dreadful machines. A possible improvement of note, my good chap, would be a wineglass of some sort that your opponent's monocle can fall in once he has felt the tip of your rapier in his breast!

Hear ye hear ye!

I will post this only as a reply for now... but for those that would like to try...

Networked Multiplayer Tig Duels! Challenge the world to a duel!
DOWNLOAD MULTIPLAYER TIG DUELS

ahoy!

If you find bugs, please post them here in the thread. When the game feels stable enough, ill add it to the first post and modify the topic to include "now with multiplayer!"

On the technical bit I can fill in that the game uses RTS synchronization despite being a high-action elucidation of disagreements. This is to ensure fairness when, let's say, a duke of the Great Empire needs to put a frog to place across the canal. In other words, if the experience appears to be laggy, feel assured that it's equally laggy for both combatants.

Edit: Maybe my post implied that the game is normally laggy. It is not. Most of the time it runs smooth as milk. I just wanted to point it out that the game is fair.
