A Shell in the Pit SFX and Music (Rogue Legacy, Shellrazer, Smarter Every Day)

Hi all,

I'm Gordon, aka A Shell in the Pit http://ashellinthepit.com. Figured I'd drop in to find interesting folks to work with. This is my full-time job and passion, and I work primarily with Power Up Audio (Towerfall, The Darkest Dungeon, The Pit, Vivity Labs, Delver). With them I contributed to well over a dozen shipped games last year. Luckily, they are also cool with me pursuing and managing my own projects, so I'm here looking for a rad one. While I consider my true talents to be in sound and music, I also try to help market projects I believe in to the best of my abilities and am good at getting the word out.

I did music for Rogue Legacy and nearly all the SFX (my songs are noted on the bandcamp page: http://tettixashellinthepit.bandcamp.com/). Destructoid claimed the SFX were "the best part of the presentation". The soundtrack was a bestseller on Bandcamp and was featured alongside Disasterpeace as part of the Loudr.fm Game music Bundle.

I do all the music and any necessary audio work for the award-winning Youtube channel Smarter Every Day http://www.youtube.com/user/destinws2, with more than 1.25 million subscribers.

I was co-composer on Shellrazer https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/shellrazer/id512290900?mt=8.

I was supervising sound editor on the Bioshock fan film The Brothers Rapture, which I marketed to receive over 1/4 million views and widespread press coverage:

I do piece-rate work but am not averse to taking risks on projects I believe in for back-end shares. I also like to take on a passion project from time to time if the artistic angle rubs me the right way.
