Marginally happy with what I was able to produce. Wanted to do a lot more but had to cut everything down to size given the time.

Possibly the crunchingest 48 hours of my life Coffee

I also signed on for a team jam entry. Sadly the teammates are Optimistic Indie Developers and wanted to write a C++ 2D online multiplayer platforming + dynamic tile-terrain engine from scratch during the jam, despite having no experience in 2D or platforming, and only a bit of experience in multiplayer. (and their main project is a Minecraft MMO...) I will probably tell them I'm quitting when they wake up. Even if I bailed them out and succeeded, what would they learn from it?

This was my first LD.
I'm not really happy with the result (gameplay wise), I could probablly tune it a bit to make it better.

Got something together at least. Had a busy weekend so it's mostly just cool event tech and odd collisions as well as a misaligned level, but still,

I had an extremely busy weekend (had an early christmas with part of my family as they'll be on vacation for the holidays) so I didn't have much time to work on it, but I managed to spend enough time to complete a small game and get it in before the deadline.

best played with a sixaxis, or other controller w/ at least two analog sticks (though keyboard works, you dont get the precision movment and aiming, and some keybaords dont like too many keys pressed down at once)

Here's mine. Porbably my worst LD entry so far gameplay wise, but at least I got something done again.

Here's my entry:

My art <-> game ratio went way off balance and I ended up implementing most of the actual gameplay the last day.
Interactive reflex-hacking adventure game at most.

My Own World. A boy in a bubble drawing his own platforms.

Happy with the way it turned out; short but fun (to me). I'm sure the ultra-responsive controls are an acquired taste, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
