Hey guys, I'm Chris Rock and I made Rush Hour Plus with my friend Bryson Whiteman for Flash.

It's a simple space shooter with a little story twist.

A couple years ago I became frustrated doing advertising work in Flash and quit my job to make games. Rush Hour was my first project and I just wanted to keep the scope small and see how quickly I could whip out a game--I was aiming for 1 week. It took two and by the end I was somewhat disappointed.

Eventually I started work again and wanted to just throw the game out to the public, but Bryson convinced me not to. He wanted to put some effort into pumping it up before it went out, so I sent him the source and we slowly collaborated while working.

Finally winter of 2012 comes around and Bryson quits his job to focus on games. First thing he does is finish up Rush Hour Plus.

March 19th, my birthday, Bryson finished the game. It made the top 5 on Newgrounds and was a featured game. Really cool response from everyone.

A lot of players have asked for an expansion and more features. Maybe there will be a sequel in the future, but Bryson and I both have other projects to attend to.

I'm really happy with Rush Hour Plus and I'm glad Bryson stepped in when he did. I'm a harsh critic of games, including my own, and I haven't been impressed with my work so far, but the positive response from everyone has been really encouraging. Releasing Rush Hour has reiterated the very message I started the game with, that life is too short to be blown lugging somebody else's rocks. I don't know why these rocks need moving, but if it's gonna get done, you've got to do it yourself.

Now I just have to keep the momentum going. Good luck to everybody with a game in their pocket. And get it out already!
