Recently formed a new game development team with a new Partner in crime, and we are developing a Sci-fi Trading game in flash due out end of the month, but what we really need is a talented sci fi writer to bring the universe to life with planet descriptions, npc dialog and backstory and stats that form around the stories, filling out the barebones galaxy that we have already created with art and programming, so heres some screenshots.


Im not sure how much interest it will get but if you like what you see and would be keen to build out the universe and put your claim on writing the entire plot for a sci-fi game then flick a email this way.  Can discuss pay also via email, while money is tight we understand you get what you pay for, so talk soon!

Looking awesomely cool, but why did you only buy drugs?

What else would you buy? Crystals? That's all a bunch of New Age bullshit.

Like seriously, if im doubt when playing I ask what would 2pac do?  Bitches and drugs is my trade strategy.

Just filling out the text in general, or writing the whole plot?

Heres a brief list:

* Naming the planets, solar systems etc
* Fleshing out a short (1 paragraph) backstory for each planet to give
them some character. Also includes things like what facilities are on
the planet, what commodities are cheap/expensive
* Naming and writing backstory on 8 or so factions that will inhabit the
galaxy
* Writing varied quests for the player to undertake
* Ideally, if you have any RPG experience, naming and fleshing out, and
possibly creating stats for items, ships etc that inhabit the galaxy.
