My portfolio can be viewed here, I mostly work with animations and character design but backgrounds and tiles are also a possibility

how are you with backgrounds/environments? I absolutely love your characters but it'd be good to see them as part of a scene.

I honestly don't bother much with backgrounds and environments. Mostly because I've really never needed to, but I've been meaning to give them a try lately so ____

A bit of advice on the website: Make it easier for people to browse through your work. Right now you have a lot of clicking going on, and clicking a thumbnail even sends me to a blank page with just the gif and no way of browsing your other work, other than going to the previous page and clicking another thumb.
It might seem like a minor issue, but when you send out an application or whatever, people tend not to bother when they can't browse through all your things fast.

I've actually been looking for a way to do so lately

unfortunately, all of the google searches I've done for pieces of html code or tips on how to accomplish the task return extremely obnoxious ways to "fix" the problem (opening a new tab/popup window for the image and opening a new tab for the image are the two that I keep seeing) :droop:

The rest of the site is admittedly really hard to navigate too though, so I'm working on that

Something like Highslide (what I use on my site, http://highslide.com/) is an easy fix. Basically slides the image open without changing pages or loading a new page in a popup or whatever, and people can browse through these slides with arrow keys, open multiple slides at the same time to compare, etc.
