Post by: kenesque on November 13, 2010, 03:37:44 PM
Current Engine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nCdcefcorc

Current features:
-Scriptable animation and properties, includes frame advantage through altering move "level" which alters how much hitstun a person enters on hit.
-Proper hitstop.
-Scriptable move inputs (making a move direction + button or a special move motion).
-In-game hitbox editor with the ability to dump data into a script file.
-Functioning cancel system,.
-Proper collision.
-Functioning knockdown state.
-Throws.
-Adjustable meter gain and super consumption.
-Infinite prevention system (temporary until proper mechanics have been designed).
-Working health system.

Basically right now, it can play Street Fighter 2.

Programmer/designer is: Anotak.
Cleanup artist/designer: Myself.

Still need an animator/character designer :( Project temporarily on hold until then, once more features will be added, Anotak or myself will post updates.

Looks pretty solid so far and I’d like to hear more about the fight engine.
I love me some airdashers.
