bizarre creatures - CHECK familiars - CHECK Sounds great! Title: Re: Transport Post by: Kaczor on May 18, 2008, 01:06:28 AM Co-op exploration game... perfect! JSWO is some kind of exploartion game, but not much of a co-op. I hope, you'll make the world, which is PG'd I think :), more varied. Good luck!
Title: Re: Transport Post by: Pacian on May 18, 2008, 03:17:18 AM I love the speech-bubble type dealies. Simple, strong artwork.
Title: Re: Transport Post by: Kaczor on May 18, 2008, 04:35:09 AM After seeing the video I'm looking forward to playing the final version even more. I know it's still a WIP but if you haven't considered it, I would suggest you to change the way the hero moves. I mean it's too stiff and I'd love to see it moving more natural (simple velocity - friction scheme or something) ;).
Title: Re: Transport Post by: Evil-Ville on May 18, 2008, 06:16:49 AM This is exactly the kind of game I wanted to see when I first heard about the competition. Good luck, I can't wait to try out the finished product.
Title: Re: Transport Post by: Terry on May 18, 2008, 06:17:54 AM This looks really interesting - reminds me of Gold's StdBits :) Can't wait to see how it develops!

Yeah it's very StdBits inspired :-* I absolutely fell in love with the game. Title: Re: Transport Post by: Akhel on May 18, 2008, 10:21:32 AM This game seems to have potential to make players shit bricks.
Gold bricks. Title: Re: Transport Post by: goldbuick on May 18, 2008, 12:23:21 PM Some more images!

This is about a quarter of what I've written so far using TLDR, qixl's low-res tracker (available from the qixl site). Title: Re: Transport Post by: Hideous on May 18, 2008, 11:21:33 PM What is Qixl?
Title: Re: Transport Post by: goldbuick on May 19, 2008, 07:09:02 AM What is Qixl? It looks amazing!
I'll try it out when I get a chance. Quite likely on Tuesday morning ;D Title: Re: Transport [ Demo link on 2nd Page ] Post by: Melly on May 30, 2008, 09:04:47 PM Very odd atmosphere. :P So, is this really multiplayer? I like the overall style and the emoting.

Yeah, if other people are playing the game at the same time as you you'll be able to see and interact with them. Title: Re: Transport [ Finished ] Post by: goldbuick on June 02, 2008, 07:09:00 PM Well! I've wrapped things as much as I could so on the first page I've posted a download link and instructions.
Title: Re: Transport [ Finished ] Post by: Evil-Ville on June 04, 2008, 08:29:50 PM This isn't getting nearly as much love as it should be. The latest build is awesome even though the puzzles are kind of simple. I really hope you continue working on this after the compo.
The only thing I do not like is the enemy graphics which could easily be improved. The bright white doesn't fit with the rest of the environment too well. (http://img76.imageshack.us/img76/8104/transport1uk8.png) Well said, mind gem. Title: Re: Transport [ Finished ] Post by: moi on June 09, 2008, 10:32:10 AM Nice little game. I'm not going to unblock it from the internet but still fun to play alone.
