Before there was Inception, there was DreamCasters' Duel! Set in a networked dreamscape, DCD combines elements of a 3D third person shooter with a 2D side-scrolling fighting game. Characters can do battle with whatever weapons can be dreamed up; a school girl’s teddy bear can come to life and assist in combos, piranhas can be called from thin air to devour an opponent, and bikini-clad mini-gun toting mercenaries can be summoned to run-and-gun down the enemy. Part super-powered shooter, part fighting game, DreamCasters' Duel will astound gamers dreaming of playing something uniquely FUN!

All in all, DCD truly deserves having been called "unique1" by the media and for having won praise for its' "great concept, story, and promising gameplay.2" In addition to praise, DreamCasters' Duel has won several international awards. Perhaps most remarkably, DCD is the work of one man over the course of several years and is currently being vetted by the Guinness Book of World Record for having “the most art assets ever single-handedly created for a game.”

DCD was initially conceived as a UT2k4 demo with the idea that the engine price would eventually come down. Epic has recently informed me that a license still costs $350,000. An engine change is in order and that's where you come in. DCD's art assets are complete (except for sound fx, which a professional sound studio has offered to do for free, simply because they love the game!) but it needs to be coded in a new engine.

Yes, after working on the title for over 8 years now in my free time, the graphics look somewhat dated. But on a mobile computing device, cell phone, portable gaming device, or better yet, XBLA, I'm sure this already popular title will absolutely clean up.

After walking away from thousands of dollars in the Middle East on moral grounds, after being cheated out of nearly as much in Asia, and because of the need to ensure you are personally invested in creating a quality product, I offer you deferred payment. 40% of the profits. How can I offer such a large percentage? I'm confident we'll make it up in volume! Let's make the dream come true!
