Title: Re: TIGJam: Sweden? Post by: konjak on August 31, 2008, 08:18:25 AM By sitting around, ignoring it.

Title: Re: TIGJam: Sweden? Post by: Corpus on August 31, 2008, 08:48:12 AM Or you could come to the UK jam.

Title: Re: TIGJam: Sweden? Post by: GregWS on August 31, 2008, 10:03:21 AM Yeah, you guys already had No More Sweden (which may have even inspired TIGJam), so just do nothing like the rest of us missing TIGJam... :'(
Title: Re: TIGJam: Sweden? Post by: gummikana on August 31, 2008, 10:21:05 AM Yeah, TIGJam is just a No More Sweden ripoff.
Title: Re: TIGJam: Sweden? Post by: Gnarf on August 31, 2008, 10:33:05 AM I think Sweden is actually a country. I often get it confused with TIGJam too.
Title: Re: TIGJam: Sweden? Post by: Dacke on August 31, 2008, 10:51:32 AM If someone were to find a place in Stockholm to have it, I would totally join.
Title: Re: TIGJam: Sweden? Post by: Robotacon on August 31, 2008, 11:32:28 AM On the 27th of September there is a retro fair in Stockholm that I plan to go to.
Perhaps we can crash that party? http://www.retrogathering.se/ Images from last year. (http://picasaweb.google.se/anders.stonan/RG2007) Title: Re: TIGJam: Sweden? Post by: Dacke on August 31, 2008, 12:18:06 PM At least it's within walking distance from where i live ;D
Title: Re: TIGJam: Sweden? Post by: Hideous on August 31, 2008, 12:21:45 PM Holy shit. I almost have to go to that. Entrance fee?
EDIT: 20 kr?! This is almost too good to be true. Title: Re: TIGJam: Sweden? Post by: killnpc on August 31, 2008, 04:57:55 PM full fart? (http://picasaweb.google.se/anders.stonan/RG2007/photo#5118174436970910498)

A country that borders every other country that is home to TIGers. Title: Re: TIGJam: Sweden? Post by: muku on September 09, 2008, 08:38:14 AM Yeah, it needs to be under the surface of the earth.
Everywhere. Also, we could domesticate pandas and save them from extinction (and sickness). Title: Re: TIGJam: Sweden? Post by: Dacke on September 09, 2008, 08:45:09 AM This is a long time favourite of mine:
Quote The Royal Kingdoms of Elgaland-Vargaland (http://www.elgaland-vargaland.org/) is the largest – and most populous realm on Earth, incorporating all boundaries between other nations as well as Digital Territory and other states of existence. Every time you travel somewhere, and every time you enter another form, such as the dream state, you visit Elgaland-Vargaland. Title: Re: TIGJam: Sweden? Post by: muku on September 09, 2008, 08:50:11 AM Ok. We should meet there then.
Title: Re: TIGJam: Sweden? Post by: Rostiger on September 15, 2008, 04:10:35 AM Lights up some herbs...
Well, see ya in a minute, fellow TIGers! ;) Title: Re: TIGJam: Sweden? Post by: Robotacon on September 27, 2008, 09:57:32 AM Did anyone go to the Retro Gathering? It was pretty interesting. I almost bought a MSX2 but I hesitated and then it was sold when I had made up my mind. I did however buy a couple of TAC-2 joysticks and a Bug-joystick (and some C64 games they came with that I wasn't interested in really but that was kind of cool) that was auctioned out.

To be honest, I didn't find it that interesting - a bunch of guys selling hard-to-find games would've been completely awesome some 15 years ago but internet kind of lowered the usefulness of them. And while I am thankful for finally having the opportunity to try the Virtual Boy (and some of the other weird consoles), it felt like apart from looking over the tables with said hard-to-find merchandise, there really wasn't much to do there. Then again, I was kind of hung over and in no mood for socializing with strangers so part of the point was lost on me. Title: Re: TIGJam: Sweden? That crowd is kind of the opposite to what this crowd is about. For them it's all about hardware and squeezing the most out of it, for us it's all about software and getting it distributed as widely as possible. I still thought it was interesting to check it out... once in a lifetime. Title: Re: TIGJam: Sweden? Post by: Hideous on September 28, 2008, 10:55:02 AM Yeah it didn't really look all too interesting.
