Title: Sentoki's quest

This is a game I made at No More Sweden, and I want'ed to keep working on the game. 
It was based on the theme "Super Strength". So you're Sentoki who's working for the rebel group "The Red Fox" who is fighting of the fascist robots, who took over the world.
And Sentoki is so strong that he can shoot fists through the air, but can only shoot one at the time.   

Here's some things I'm going to add or fix:
- Make nicer graphics
- add a main menu
- add a boss and add more levels and a "story"
- make the code look nice
- add co-op 
- Health to the player and enemies

Some gameplay info!
Space is shoot, arrow keys are moving.
When the helicopter picks you up, you win.

I died as soon as it started. What's the respawn button?

EDIT: Not to overwhelm you with another q but what's the throw magical fists button

I'm awful at this game

EDIT: Found the fist button, got killed by a helicopter

Forgot to say that, you win when the helicopter picks you up.

Alpha 0.0.2 is soon done!

Main Menu works! The code is done, I'm going to add more of a cool font and some kind of background and the title!

Now I'm going to make the boss work! It's going to be a robot snake that will take 50 hits.

I'm done with he's code. He shoots every time the last three bullets goes of the screen.

Now I'm going to code the boss, create a font and background picture for the main menu.
(Maybe even make some background music for the main menu....)

I like the general idea of shooting fists at robots,
but add some 16-bit gfx, add some progressive levels instead
of just shooting robots, a composer to do cool music and this
would be a really cool game.

I'm going to work more on levels and a campagin and such once I'm done with the engine.
I'm going to add more levels and a story.

Hi!
Okay so I've added the boss and it works. The player, the boss and the enemy tank thing also have health now. So if the player is hit 10 times by a bullet or stabbed he will lose one health point.
I removed the helicopter because I think it would be cooler if you fight a boss instead.
The things I still have to do is to draw a new font that looks cool and so I don't get any copyright problems, draw a title screen, and make it so the boss spawn far away form the player so it moves closer and then you fight him. This will be for the next build that will hopefully be out before the 15 of august. In later builds I will add music, better graphics since 90% of the current graphics were drawn during no more Sweden, make levels and add a story, power ups maybe co-op.

Ouch. This will sound weird, but I like such "design". It's like "giving a secret", also a bit noire...

That sounds weird, but it actually looks good, but...


But it doesn't fit your game. Your menu should be more colourful, as I look onto the game itself.

You really need to add a way to quickly restart when you have died, it's kind of annoying that I have to close the game and open it again... Or maybe you have and I'm just blind :)

Edit: The restart thing is buggy some times when you start you will run in one direction or crash. If that happends just restart the game.

Okay so for the next build I'm going to add levels, a health bar, more enemies and more bosses!
Maybe I'll add sound and music, I'll try to make the graphics nicer and add a titel screen so it ses Sentoki's quest at start screen. Health packs and powerups.

I like where this is going but far too much happens on such a small amount of space, and bullets shoot at me far too fast for any human to possibly react to, I recommend hiring a beta tester or something  :shrug2:

Okay, so I've fixed a bug in the main menu like if you die and hit ESC it just restart and if you hit ESC once more it just stops to work.
And nothing happened if you hit exit the game when you died. Now it shuts down!

So during this weekend I'v been somewhat productive. I'm adding a sort of powerup, there will be a robot dog with a backpack running past you fast and if you hit the dog it will exp-load and drop a pistol. Then you will have something like ten bullets, which should make it easier to kill robots.

Well, I've been gone, for long. I've been working on multiple projects since this and have learnt how to do more stuff(animation, powerups, health bar). So I'm reviving this!

First of, I'm redoing graphics and adding animation, health bar, power-ups and more levels.
I'll might add some other stuff along the way because concentrating is hard.
