It's really, really hard work (you will be exhausted basically every day) but it's totally worth it. I volunteered in 2005 and it was a great experience. They've probably filled all their slots by now, but you can always get on the list for next year if so, and it never hurts to register anyway - sometimes they have people cancel at the last minute and they need replacements (that's how I got in in '05).
